DATA ACCURACY SIGNALS

How We Keep Cricket Stats Reliable

Accurate cricket data is the foundation of the Stats Hub. Every figure we display is sourced from completed official scorecards. Here is what we do to keep the numbers honest and the records consistent across PSL and international formats.

Scorecard Sourcing Every batting, bowling and fielding figure is drawn from published official scorecards, not estimated or projected mid-match. Records update once an innings is confirmed complete.
Format Separation T20, ODI and Test records are kept in separate data layers so a batter's T20 strike rate never bleeds into their Test average — a common error on aggregator sites.
PSL Edition Filters Each PSL season is tagged individually, letting you isolate a franchise's performance in a single edition rather than mixing results across multiple tournaments.
Correction Pathway When an official board retrospectively amends a scorecard, our team applies the correction within the next data refresh cycle and logs the change for transparency.

Inside the Cricket Stats Hub at p939

The Cricket Stats Hub covers every layer of match data that matters — batting averages, bowling economy rates, partnership totals and fielding records across PSL editions and international series. Each player profile pulls from verified scorecards, so the numbers you read here match what the official board publishes. Head-to-head comparison tools let you line up two players or two teams side by

side. Series filters narrow results to a specific format — T20, ODI or Test — without wading through unrelated figures. The data refreshes after each completed innings, keeping records current through an active season.

Cricket Stats Hub Glossary

New to reading cricket data? These are the terms you will see most often inside the Cricket Stats Hub, explained plainly without the commentary-box jargon.

What is Economy Rate in cricket stats?

Economy rate measures how many runs a bowler concedes per over. A lower number means tighter bowling. It is the primary efficiency metric for T20 and ODI format analysis.

What does Strike Rate mean for a batter?

Batting strike rate shows how many runs a batter scores per 100 balls faced. Higher values signal aggressive intent; T20 formats reward a strike rate above 130.

What is a Head-to-Head record?

Head-to-head records compare total wins, losses and ties between two specific teams or players across all matches where both appeared in the same fixture.

What does NRR stand for?

NRR stands for Net Run Rate. It calculates a team's average runs scored per over minus average runs conceded per over, used to separate teams on equal points in a table.

What is a Partnership Total?

A partnership total is the combined runs scored by two batters while batting together in the same innings. High partnership records often indicate match-turning phases.

What does Bowling Average mean?

Bowling average is the number of runs a bowler concedes per wicket taken. Lower averages indicate a more effective wicket-taker relative to the runs they give away.

Cricket Stats Hub — What You Need to Know

These are the questions we hear most from Pakistan cricket fans using the Stats Hub. Each answer focuses on how the data works and what you can do with it on p939.

The Hub covers T20 Internationals, ODIs, Test matches and PSL editions. You can filter by format at the top of any player or team profile page to isolate the data set you want.

Records update after each completed innings is confirmed in the official scorecard. Mid-innings live figures are shown separately and labelled as provisional until the innings closes.

Yes. The head-to-head tool in the Stats Hub lets you select any two PSL franchises and view their direct match record, average scores and top performers in those specific fixtures.

Currently the Hub focuses on on-field performance data — runs, wickets, fielding and match results. Auction figures and contract values are not part of the current data set.

Use the in-app help button on the Stats Hub page or submit a support form from your account settings. Include the player name, series and the figure you believe is incorrect for the quickest resolution.

The Stats Hub is fully accessible through the mobile browser on any Pakistan-supported device. Filters, comparison tools and player profiles all load within the mobile layout without needing a separate download.
